I am an abstract thinker and practical problem solver with boundless curiosity. I design elegant solutions to open-ended challenges with complex constraints. I have 14 years of experience programming in C++, and am comfortable building systems that require high levels of safety and security.
I am currently a staff software engineer at The Stellar Development Foundation, where I have been working since 2017. In my current role, I am the tech lead for development of the Stellar protocol. My current responsibilities include research, protocol design, protocol implementation, security, and performance.
Prior to joining the Stellar Development Foundation, I was a quantitative trader at Tower Research Capital from 2015 to 2017.
I graduated from MIT in 2015 with a double major in applied mathematics and physics, as well as a minor in economics.
